A Brief History

SMA Medicine & Nephrology Clinic has been treating patients since July 1, 2002. SMA Medicine & Nephrology Clinic was initially located in the Doctor’s Building at 500 University Suite 306, Little Rock, Arkansas. It operated and provided medical services to patients at this location for 11 years and 3 months. During this time, SMA Medicine & Nephrology Clinic outgrew its current space. In order to continue providing quality care to patients, expansion was necessary. The Medical Director (Moses C. Ejiofor M.D.) made a major decision to undertake building his own facility

In October 2012, SMA Medicine & Nephrology Clinic broke ground. A Ground Breaking Ceremony on Thursday, October 25, 2012, was held. The community came out to celebrate this grand occasion including several clergy members, city officials, financial institution representatives, and Little Rock Regional Chambers of Commerce. After construction was completed, SMA Medicine and Nephrology Clinic was ready to move into its new beautiful building and scenic location, located at 1515 Kanis Park Drive Suite B, Little Rock, Arkansas. On October 1, 2013, SMA Medicine & Nephrology Clinic relocated to the John Barrow Community. SMA Medicine & Nephrology Clinic continues to look forward to providing quality services within this community and its surrounding areas as we have done for the past 6 years.
